Intrusive Thoughts Series: Worrying About Unfulfilled Needs
Matthew 6:31-34 “So don’t worry about these things, saying, ‘What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?’ These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs. Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need. “So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today.”
God already knows everything that you are worried about. Seek Him constantly and everything that you need will be added to you. There is no point worrying about tomorrow when tomorrow is not even here yet. Take it one day at a time, remain obedient to Him, and trust Him to take care of you.
Dear Heavenly Father,
At your foot, I present to you all the things that I am worried and anxious about. I know this stem from my lack of trust and hope in you. I know that you are a limitless God and all things are possible through you. All things will work out for my good in due time.
Please help me to stand firm in your word and provide me with a peace of mind that surpasses all anxiety and worry. Thank you for always being there for me no matter what happens as I wait patiently for your provision.
In Jesus name, Amen
